What have i learned so far:

Before this project I already knew some information about the Gallbladder disease. But so far in this project I learned certain interesting things. Like I learned that gallstones are mainly made by cholesterol and other bile salts. Pollyps are made from tissues that grow inside the gallbladder, some of them might be cancerous if they grow to be larger than the normal polyps. I also learned that you are able to get tumors in the gallbladder, and that we use this organ to digest fat and that it contains the biles that is produced by the liver.

Background of Gallbladder Disease

The Gallbladder is a small sack next to the liver, it stores bile produced by it. It also helps in the digestion of food. This disease is known mainly affect women, but it can also affect men too. There is no specific age that it can happen to a person, it mostly affected adults but no it is known to also affect children. This disease come in different types. Some of them are:
1. Gallstones

2. Biliary disease
3. Polyps in the Gallbladder
4. Cholecystitis
5. Tumors in the gallbladder
They all have different symptoms but the most common ones are pain on the top right side of your abdomen, nausea, loss of appetite and diarrhea. There is one solution for these problems, and that is surgery. But if you do not get surgery the only way to control your pain is to drink pain pills. Also being careful in what you eat helps control the pain because some times fatty food can be the cause of your pain. Gallstones are formed from calcium, cholesterol, and bile salts in the gallbladder. Polyps are made from tissue. Cholecystitis is the inflammation of the Gallbladder for a long time.
